THE STORY BEGINS

For more than 60 years, the coffee de Paris from Geneva, it is famous around the world for serving a single menu consisting of salad, entrecote and French fries.

Despite the very little variety, it is very difficult to get a table y such see the mystery lies in the sauce that bears the name of the restaurant.

The brown sauce de Paris was invented in the 1930s by Madame Boubier, the owner of the restaurant ´COQ´D´OR´, and passed to the famous café de Paris because her daughter married the owner from the premises of number 26 of la rue du mont blanc and took the recipe.

It has been mentioned internationally in magazines, radio, television and even movies.
